Meet The Team

Rohan Nicholls B.V.Sc (Hons) R.D.A

Rohan Nicholls B.V.Sc (Hons) R.D.A

With over 50 years of experience, Rohan is our clinic's resident veterinary surgeon and has been at our practice since joining as a graduate some years ago. He previously completed a Diploma in Agriculture at Roseworthy Agricultural College before studying Veterinary Science at Melbourne University. Rohan graduated with a Bachelor of Veterinary Science with Honours in 1973. Committed to ongoing professional development, Rohan regularly attends conferences (at least two weeks per year) to stay updated with information on disease processes, treatments and prevention. During his time at our clinic, he's developed a strong bond with clients and their pets, and his cat, Marvin, is often seen around the practice! Outside work, Rohan enjoys jogging daily, drinking a glass of French champagne, and watching his beloved Geelong Cats win a game! 

Jacquie Coleman

Passionate about animals from an early age, veterinary nurse Jacquie joined Glenvale in 2008 and has since completed a Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing through the Animal Industries Resource Centre (October 2011). Dedicated to her job, Jacquie has become a much-valued member of the team, and her calm and confident personality makes her great for working with the animals in her care. In her spare time, Jacquie, her husband Mark and children Lenny & Zoe enjoy camping, snowboarding and various other outdoor activities with their fur child Roxy the Golden Retriever. Roxy has a very cheeky personality and will always greet you with a present in her mouth!

Ashleigh Warren-Smith

Ashleigh Warren-Smith

Ashleigh joined Glenvale in 2013 while finishing her Certificate II in Animal Studies and then completed her Certificate IV in Vet Nursing in 2019. A very important part of the team, Ashleigh also holds a wildlife licence, so she is our primary carer for all sorts of wild animals, including native birds, possums and even reptiles! Her love for animals and their well-being is obvious to see in the care and attention she shows every patient. At home, Ashleigh lives with her husband Callum and her fur family, which includes Maltese Shih-Tzu Archie, a Diamond Python called Nyoka, and cats Phoebe and Betty.

Courtenay Potter

Courtenay joined the Glenvale team early in 2018 and completed her Cert IV in Veterinary Nursing in May 2023.  She loves her time at Glenvale and has fit well into the team. Court lives with her Fiance Jesse, has a horse Belle, Golden Retriever Cooper, and two chickens. She enjoys horse riding, catching up with friends, walking Cooper, and watching Collingwood football club play in her spare time.

Ebony Stevens

Ebony Stevens

Ebony joined the Glenvale Team in October 2021 and is already showing fantastic nursing skills. She has completed her Cert II in Animal studies and Cert IV in Veterinary Nursing at Box Hill Tafe. 

Ebony lives at home on a farm with her family and pets including her cat Penelope, chickens, 2 miniature ponies and Arabian horses . In her spare time, she enjoys horse riding and catching up with friends.
